Labor Day pigtails and awesome shoes

Baby girl's hair is getting LONG! Its hard to tell just how long it is because it is so kinky/curly, but it is LONG.

I absolutely love the little pigtail poufs, so I thought maybe it was time to give it a try with her hair.

I got the two sides done, but the middle is still a little too short to make it to the sides, so I made a top puff too. They don't have much volume to them, but I think they're cute.

She absolutely hated me doing it, mainly because I rarely run a comb through all of her hair. I usually only do the back that becomes dreaded when she sleeps. I don't know how often I'll do it because I'm nervous about pulling on it and putting the rubber bands in it. I don't want it to break off. But for the day it was really cute, if not slightly ridiculous. I think it almost makes her look like a different child.

Not long after that we decided to go for a run and enjoy the incredible weather. Van got little girl dressed to go. (A little secret, Van enjoys dressing her up as much if not more than I do.)

He decided that she should wear the "running" shoes she got from Uncle Garland and Aunt Sarah. They are ADORABLE. I mean cute as can be! And of course when Van dresses her 9 out of 10 times she ends up in Razorback gear. Doesn't she look all ready to go?

Too much cuteness! I can't handle it!

The "pigtails" definitely accentuate the "roly poly" look, which of course enhance overall cuteness.
